Creating all these characters has been good for me, both as an actor and a performer. It helps me to grow as a person. I abandoned this project for awhile but I think it's important to get back into it, not for the original reasons (which I can't even remember at the moment) but as a way to add more magic and fun to my life. The bottom line is how would you dress if you truly didn't care what other people thought? There must be a reason deep in your soul that you feel like dressing that way, some unmet need to express yourself. Could it be a past life thing? Missing yourself when you were younger? Protesting fashion experts who think they know more about what you look good in than you do?

Happy Mardi Gras
I VOTE FOR MARDI GRAS!
Free Comments & Graphics
I wish today's theme had been Marid Gras but I didn't really plan that far ahead.
Today's theme was Super Hero, which worked out well because I needed all my courage to face the torture chamber...i.e. the dentist.

Feb. 4 Honeybee
This sounds like a silly role to play, but when I started thinking about the importance of the honey bee in history, and the way we are mysteriously losing honey bees now, the impact becomes obvious. No bees equals no pollination. No pollination equals many fewer fruits and vegetables.
Bees were sacred to the Goddess Diana. Honey has natural aneseptic qualities.
I'm acually allergic to bee stings, so I kind of have a love/hate relationship with bees.
Today I tried to be busy as a bee. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and I needed to be super busy to keep my mind off of it. At least tomorrow I get to be a super hero. And I need to be to make it through my dental phobia.

Feb. 3. Vampire
I was still too sick to dress up for this, but I did spend the day thinking about energy vampires. How do we use others? How do we let others use us? Do we give up our power too easily? Do we fight over every little thing? Do we give in to passive aggression? Do we know when we are being manipulated? Do we purposely manipulate others for our own selfish gains?

Sick Leave
On Jan. 28 until today I've pretty much been too sick to participate in my own experiment. Looks like I have some make up work to do.

Today was Spy Day
So I decided to use it becoming more aware of the people around me. Which was pretty interesting in a Dr. waiting room for 2 1/2 hours. You really see the best and worst of people in situations like that. Most people went out of their way to hold doors open, give up their seats to families and the like. The only cross person was my Dr.
Enchantress

In true Enchantress style,I went looking for treasures in Quartzsite AZ and came home with this beautiful selenite sphere to hypnotize my minions with.

Princess Day

Since today is princess day I decided to pamper myself. I took a nice long hot shower with my favorite lemon body wash. Then I went to the library and got some books on yoga. Then I went window shopping at a giant indoor mall. Then I bought a little gargoyle statue to protect my castle. Then I sat in my tower and wrote poetry all afternoon.

Day 2 Channeling my Inner Genie

Thinking about genies lead me to thinking about magic lamps, Which are a symbol of knowledge and learning, which lead me to thinking about the sorry state of affairs of CA education, which inspired me to write this: To the Students of California
So I'm very happy with today's exploration.
